“From the Smarts to the Arts, Developing the Whole Child”
Looking for a fun and engaging summer camp for your child? Look no further than our ECE Summer Camp! Our program is designed to keep your child learning and having fun with activity centers, play zones, and a conversation/reading station. With classrooms for three-, four-, and five-year olds, your child will have the opportunity to make new friends while enjoying their summer.
Our daily program includes a dedicated Rest and Relaxation time for our ECE campers. During this time, your child will have the opportunity to rest for one to two hours a day. If your child does not require a nap, please inform our staff. We will provide calming activities for those who do not participate in a standard nap.
R&R/Nap Time Needs: flat sheet, blanket, pillow and one stuffy friend. These will go home at the end of the week.
Infant bottles or sippy cups will not be allowed.
DAILY SAMPLE SCHEDULE*
MORNING: Open - 9:00AM "Breakfast Break"
Children will enjoy a breakfast/AM Snack before they start their day! Children who will not be eating with us can play quietly. Once all friends have finished their meals, they can explore the activity centers!
9:00AM-9:20/30 AM "Conversation Station"
Starting our day with a sense of community is important to us. We gather together as a group to welcome each other and discuss the day's planned events. We also enjoy reading a book out loud or singing a song to set a positive tone for the day ahead.
9:30AM-10:30 AM "Activity Centers & Crafts"
We believe that activity centers are essential in promoting learning and development in children. Our centers offer a variety of activities, such as block play, creative arts, dramatic play, reading, and science activities.
10:30AM-11:00AM "AM Snack Time"
11:00AM-11:45AM "Outdoor Play"
Children love to play and use their imagination, and what a better way to do it than in the great outdoors? We incorporate our daily themes into outdoor activities for even more fun and learning!
11:45AM-12:30PM "Lunch Time"
AFTERNOON: 12:30PM-2:15PM "R&R/NapTime"*

Get ready for some fun in the sun! Our Kids Smart swimming field trips are every Monday. Don't forget to send your child with their swimsuit under their daily clothes, a towel, and an additional change of clothes if needed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Due to the nation's lifeguard shortage, some pools catering to younger non-swimmers may be unavailable, thus limiting borrowable life jackets. Kid SmART highly recommends purchasing your child/ren their own life jacket to participate all day long! Floaties and water wings are not allowed to be worn.
Swimmers Abilities: SmART Directors will speak to the parents and guardians regarding their child/ren's swimming ability before attending the field trip. A child's gauge of their swimming abilities will not be considered.

Swimming Tests: Kids SmART Directors are not qualified to conduct swimming tests for children to participate in specific pool attractions such as slides, rock walls, and diving boards. Instead, a qualified county lifeguard (if available) will assess your child's swimming ability and determine if they are eligible to participate in those extra attractions.

Non-Swimmers: Children who cannot swim will receive a red wristband for staff indication. Non-swimmers will only be allowed in areas limited to 1.35 m or have a guarded zero-depth entry. If the pool facilities are not equipped to provide a safe swimming environment for non-swimmers, life jackets must be worn at all times. Floaties/Water wings are not allowed.

Pool Sunscreening/Rest Time: Kids SmART requires children to rest and receive another sunscreen application (outdoor pools) every hour.

Pool Toys: Kids SmART prohibits children from bringing pool toys from home (water guns, pool floats ,etc.)
