Kids SmART Program Objectives

         Provide a safe environment where children can be themselves and thrive.

• Give all children the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe and nurturing environment where they are encouraged to discover themselves and are able to develop to their full potential.  
• Encompass a holistic approach where there is open communication between the Kids SmART staff, the childrens’ parents, their teachers and the school administration to ensure the common goal of each child’s success with their educational growth.
• Always offer children choices for the scheduled activities so they can feel empowered and develop a sense of responsibility for their surroundings.
• Develop activity choices around the 40 Developmental ASSETS.
• Promote the self-esteem of each child through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
• Offer financial flexibility so that each and every family can afford to attend the program.
• Encourage all children to work together and develop a sense of teamwork.
